From the beginning, the Nordlignum group has grown as steadily as the forest itself. It all started in 1961 with an agency for sawn wood products, which is still the backbone of the company today. Within the Nordlignum group, we have concentrated on broadening our customer base, mainly in Europe but also in North Africa and several Arab countries.

Our policy in all business activities is to establish good business contacts through personal relationships, know-how and commitment. Export of wood products is largely based on trust, material handling and transport. For that reason, two transport companies are part of the Nordlignum group, Nordprotekt and Nordlignum Shipping. The Nordlignum group has the privilege of having a staff with solid knowledge and experience of Scandinavian wood products.
